 Hello everyone,

Hope you all have a good start to the New Year. I am a bit late with my December "mmmalteredcardplay" creation. I had a busy December and then I got sick and was in the hospital. I am better but not feeling 100% good yet.

I am looking forward to all the creations in 2023.

Here is my creation for December "mmmalteredcardplay".

Theme: Time
Technique: Use a Rubber Stamp
Add Ons: Add words and Add a Frame or Border
Extra Credit: Add a Pocket

I have created the pocket behind "A step back in Time". The clock is in the pocket.

Hi everyone,

Here is my October "mmmalteredcardplay" creation.

The October card.

Theme: Whimsical

Technique: Splatter paint or ink

Add-Ons: Add magazine or book image + Add product packaging

Extra Credit: Add an insect

For my Whimsical picture, I used a picture of a 3D "Motiv Bogenblock" book. I used Dylusions in a spray for the ink splatter.

I used Product packaging from Rayher and Fancy Pants for the background of my page and the card.

Hi everyone,

Here is my September mmmalteredcardplay creation.

The September card.

Theme: Messy

Technique: Scribble

Add-Ons: Add numbers and Add a Sticker

Extra Credit: Add Fabric

For the background, I used Distress Paint - Picket fence, and the colors are from Distress Mica spray - Brushed pewter and Mister Huey's Spray - Buttercup.

The numbers are a stencil - "Number Jumble" I do not know who the brand is. 

The Hippy Chic is a Stencil from Andy Skinner - Decoart. I placed the stencil over the black card stock and scribbled it with Uni Posca pens over the stencil.

The background paper is from my stash and the fabric I received as a gift.

The mirror sticker is from Stick Mania.

 Hello everyone,

I really loved creating this page for my mmmalteredcardplay creation.

Here's the list:

My sister and I:

As a teenager, my sister and I  collect postcards with cute pictures on the postcards. The picture was mostly from teenage funky girls. 

I do not have any of my postcards anymore due to moving overseas and my sister past away so I can't ask her if she had any left. 

Born and raised in:

South Africa 

My mother and us:

My mom sewed all our dresses and this picture of my sister and I is one of several dresses my mom made us. My sister's dresses were always blue and my dresses were pink or both yellow or a lovely green. 

Our family:

My father played several musical instruments and had a lovely voice when he sang. My mom and sister played piano. I did learn to play piano but I stop playing when I was a bit older. I love to sing. 😜

 Hello everyone,

Welcome to Epie and Carol, thank you for following me on my private Blog!
I don't know about you, but phew, I am melting away!
This summer is really hot, and rain would be welcome!

I had some ideas for this Theme and have some Digi images to use. But my printer keeps having problems when I want to print. I decided to draw an image and come up with this idea with the Robot reading under a tree and enjoying the summer sun. I can do a lot of things, but drawing is not one of them. 😂

MMMALTEREDCARDPLAY - Mixed Media Morsels Altered Card Play

We have a Theme, Technique, Add-Ons, and extra credit for our play card.

The theme is Garden, 

I used a free image I found on Pinterest and colored the lemon tree in.

For the technique, use watercolors - 

I used Zig watercolor pens to color the lemon tree.

For the add-ons - 

Add a security envelope and add a tag.

I stamp the little butterfly on the security envelope and cut it out. 

For the extra credit, 

add a fruit or vegetable. I used the Lemon tree.

I was inspired by a picture from Portugal that I took with the lovely tiles. I create the background on my computer and color the "tiles" with Distress Ink.

Some of my embellishments are cutouts from the 49 and Market - Cottage Life collection.

MMMALTEREDCARDPLAY - Mixed Media Morsels Altered Card Play

We have a Theme, Technique, Add-Ons, and extra credit for our play card.

The theme is Sweet, I used an old calendar and cut the pugs out. 

For the technique, scrape paint - I scrape some of the paint on my napkin and the pull-out tag.

For the add-ons - I used a button and a heart brad.

For the extra credit, I add a napkin - from my stash

MMMALTEREDCARDPLAY - Mixed Media Morsels Altered Card Play

We have a Theme, Technique, Add-Ons, and extra credit for our play card.

For the Theme of Ocean/Beach, I used an old calendar and cut the turtle out. I used an old magazine for the blue background.

For the technique, draw or doodle something - I doodled some water bubbles and the frame.

For the add-ons, I used brown craft paper

I have torn the craft paper

For the extra credit, I add a cup - Echo Park paper - Sticker

For the extra credit, I used a ribbon also from Love from Lizi - May 2018 kit
