Hello everyone,

The new Challenge on Scrapping4funChallenges is live. The theme is Wedding/Anniversary.

The Design Team and I are looking forward to seeing you and joining us in the fun!

I have created a double Scrapbooking page for my Design Team creations. The layout is from my son-in-law. I create all the pages "flat" with no bulk. I have to take the Wedding album overseas to my Daughter and her husband. We will add some extra things when they receive the album and on the empty spaces, they can write something of what they have experienced on that day.

Wedding

#222 Wedding ladies

Hello everyone,

    The new Challenge at Scrapping4funChallenges is live. 

The theme is Ladies / Girls add layers.

I created a Scrapbook layout for my Design Team creation with my daughter's wedding and the ladies. I created the layouts flat for this moment. 

I will look when the album is finished and add more flowers.

I have used different manufacturers' papers.

On this layout the background paper is - Bo Bunny - Forever fall stripe

and Mintay papers - Yes, I do

The lace and pearls are from my stash.

Before the ladies dressed up for the wedding they had some fun.

One lady even lost her slipper. 😂

The paper I used is from Pion Design and the card stock is from my stash.

#222 Wedding ladies

Alphabet letter - W - #216

 Hello everyone,

the theme for the new  Scrapping4funChallenges Challenge is the Alphabet letter - W.

Our Daughter and Son-in-Law's wedding was on the 11th of June 2022. We flew to South Africa for the wedding and spend some time with family and friends. The wedding was a whole weekend getaway.

The Venue was beautiful and the food was so good! The Friday evening we have a barbeque (braaivleis) the Saturday with the wedding we had breakfast and lunch. The food in the evening was really good and the pudding was yummy! The wedding was at 15h00, our daughter had a stunning dress and she looked beautiful. It was a beautiful wedding with yummy food and friends and family. 

I have created this wedding album for the mother of the groom. I couldn't find the white album from 49 and Market and used the black one.

Flower girl and Maid of Honor gift boxes #212

Hi everyone,

The new Challenge at Scrapping4funChallenges is live. The theme is Anything Goes.
My daughter is getting married on the 11th of June and I created a lot of wedding decor. Here are two boxes that I created for the Maid of Honor and the flower girl. My daughter will place some nice gifts in the boxes. I also have two boxes for the Bridesmaids, I will post them in another post.  

Normally I create my own boxes from scratch but I was so busy and then I got sick (you know with what)! At this moment I had an infected right ear and the nerve in my ear got damaged. I am on high cortisone and will be going for a small Operation on the 9th of May 2022. I really hope my ear will be ok because we are flying to South Africa on the 4th of June for the wedding.

Flower girl and Maid of Honor gift boxes #212

50 Anniversary

Hello everyone,

Wow, time is flying! I can't believe we are at end of March! I hope everyone is well and still creating!

I have an order for a 50th Wedding Anniversary! I created this card and used my Silhouette machine to cut the 50 with the flowers out.

The "Anniversary" is a die-cut from Tim Holtz - Sizzix - Thinlits - Celebrate. For the background, I embossed a pattern on white cardstock with an embossing folder from Darice - Diamond Plate.

50 Anniversary

Maid of Honor

Hello everyone

I have created this gift box for a friend of my daughter.

My daughter asks me if I could create a gift box for her to give to her "Made of Honor" as a gift.

She bought some lovely gifts to place inside the box.

I have cut the pieces for the box from Chipboard and then build the box.

The box is 20x20 cm and 10cm deep.

I have used flowers from 49 and Market.

I have brought in some Rose gold on the leaves and the flowers on the Bride and Maid of Honors hair.

I bought the Digital paper on Etsy from froufroucrafts 

I have changed the paper to black and white and colored some of the Ladies in.

Pearls are gems from my stash.

I have used this Digi image for the inside of the Cover.

The background paper is also from the Digital paper, I colored some of the flowers pink.

I created these cards and printed them out. 

My daughter adds the gifts with the cards.

I placed a tassel for the closing on the box.
